DOWN THE OTHER SIDE!

Once through the Homer Tunnel, we hit low ceilings, fog and drizzle! [Doh!]  Apparently, this is ideal because the wetter the weather, the more waterfalls there are to see.  Well, we saw a lot of waterfalls.  I mean a lot of waterfalls!!  The drive took us through the rainforest on the same narrow windy road!  Interesting thing about New Zealand is that they don't believe in guard rails!  So you're driving along this cliff that drops 1000 feet down literally 2 feet from the pavement without any barrier at all!  This can be a little intimidating.  We stopped at a couple of "look-outs" but because of the fog, we could only hear the water falling off the cliffs but couldn't see it.
